Veronica Morgan is the owner and CEO of Axton Group LLC, a SDVOB and WOSB (certifications pending) that provides packaging, freight, and fulfillment solutions to federal, state, and local agencies.
Military Service
Veronica is a U.S. Army combat veteran. She served on active duty from 2003 to 2009 as a Specialist (E-4) in food service operations, deployed to Afghanistan from 2004 to 2005, and was honorably discharged. Her awards include the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (2nd award), and Cook of the Year.
Military service taught her to read a requirement closely, confirm the details before acting, and follow through on what was promised. She brings the same approach to every solicitation Axton Group pursues.
Professional Experience
Veronica worked as a professional chef and, after leaving the Army, managed kitchens. A kitchen leaves little room for guesswork: the order is right, or it goes back. That standard carries into how Axton Group verifies specifications, documentation, and delivery requirements.
Veronica holds a degree in business management and has hands-on e-commerce experience. She has owned her own brand on Amazon and handled the logistics of shipping and delivering products to customers. That experience carries directly into government fulfillment work, where orders have to arrive complete and on time.
She is also a property manager for affordable housing.
Community
Veronica has a long record of service to veterans. She held a leadership role with the Home of Record Project, a Mesa nonprofit focused on veteran housing.
In the nonprofit space, she also served as a board member and executive assistant for Transitional Living Communities and remains passionate about helping people experiencing homelessness and addiction.
Veronica is an awardee of the Women Veterans Leadership Program from Beneath the Service, a Women of Valor honoree of the Scottsdale Chamber, and an experienced public speaker.
